Ines was an exchange student who spent her senior year at HPHS, receiving her diploma at our graduation ceremony.
The Gottschalk family in Hamburg, Germany, notified Highland Park families who had hosted Ines during her stay in America that she had died unexpectedly in what was then West Germany.

Marcia Dicus (McINERNEY)
Ines Gottschalk lived with our family for several months during her stay in the US. She was a wonderfully interesting person and added a great deal to our family's knowledge of post-war Germany. I am sure she was missed greatly by her family and many friends.Marcia Dicus McInerney
